In the past, bulding was part of the massive Da Mula's villa that was built in the middle of 1500, designed by Jacopo Sansovino, famous sculptur and architect and then internally painted by Paolo Veronese and his students. During the Great War, in 1917 when the battle moved on Piave river front, Da Mula's villa was unfortunately destroyed. Few paintings recovered are now displayed at Civic Museum of Treviso.

As phototografic documentation show, the ancient Osteria, was recovered respecting the previous architecture, as well as in mantaining the original furnishing from the early last century.

In the 2000 a part of the building has undergone a restructuring which has been converted into a large dining room and new rooms.
